В последнее время я остерегаюсь делать фикреки, и стараюсь сопровождать их как можно меньшим количеством слов.
Но Wrath and the Maiden - это лучшее из того, что мне попадалось за долгое время, за исключением "Практической теологии", которая оставляет совершенно другое послевкусие, а если брать только англофики - то вообще не помню, когда я что-то столь сильное читала (хотя здесь, несомненно, следует учесть, что я читаю немногое). И, поскольку автор говорит, что он(а) "not sure if I’d be able to write a happy story even if my life depended on it" - да, оно действительно настолько тяжелое и дарковое и безнадежное, что к концу у меня случился практически катарсис - одна часть орала "ужас!", а другая обливалась слезами, хлопала и кричала "браво". Если автор разрешит, я сделаю попытку - если осилю, что не факт - перевода. Но я не уверена.
Но Лелиана там столь бесподобна, что стоит хотя бы попробовать.

Минутка имхо закончена, пойду еще поплачу.

I happen to be the author of that fic. And while I don't speak Russian - even though my native language actually belongs to the Slavic family as well - my best friend happens to be Russian, so he actually translated your diary entry for me. It's very handy to have multinational friends

Next, for your translation - sure, go ahead, I don't mind if you translate it to Russian, as long as I'm properly credited as the author of the fic. I do have one small condition, though - send me the translation before you post it anywhere. I'd like to give it to my best friend to check it out for me, if you don't mind. And if we're lucky, he may even do an illustration for the Russian edition - he's a professional artist, and he already did some awesome job for another story I wrote.
